Default Interesting Idea..Yes..No?

OK has anybody done this? (it goes with out saying use all the safety features)
two stage setup..
One system activated by a WOT switch & RPM switch. The RPM switch using pill 3300 on and 6300 off with a 75 to 100 wet shot.
Second system activated by the same WOT switch , but using a second RPM switch with pill 4300 on and 6300 off 50 to 75 wet shot.
You would need two systems and nozzels.
Would this not be a two stage system that would be a little nicer to the internal parts? Less shock? Anyone running a system like this?

sounds good to me i guess. i wouldnt want to drop below the bottom window of the second window switch though...seems like undue stress. people have been known to add a microswitch inside thier shifter to activate as they shifted into 2nd.

most of the fast 2-stage guys spray out of the hole with the smaller shot and the second before or at the 60' line with a larger shot.

When I get my Torque arm back in I'll be shooting 150 out of the hole but I will be taking off at 5500 RPM's. My thought is that this would be a little softer on the internal parts and a little more consistent.

what would you launch at? its still a soft hit when you hit the switch since the motor is already at high rpm. plus, if you did a dry first stage you could pull 4 degrees of timing that way...then spray the wet 2nd stage whenever you wanted to or not at all.

I'm still trying to find out what RPM's allow me to leave with-out spinning. At this time I'm leaving at 5000 to 5500 but with tire spin. (on slicks) I have to see how the car runs with a torque arm that is not bent.

well...the point of the 2 stage is not to spin. launch on a 75 shot vs. a 150 at 5500 and 28" slicks and you'll probably hook. then flip the switch at the 60' line for an additional 100-150.

yes, it woudl work like that, personally, i woudl do a dry first shot (cheap, just add a noid and spray through the maf) then use the second stage, as the wet kit you already have.

if you need to buy a second wet front end, you should just look into a progressive controler.
