Plate kit? Looking for a plate kit... Anyone have luck with them? What motor and what size shot and gear?
I have F body 408 ls3 intake l92 heads th400 mwc9" 28" slick!!!

Also what's the largest shot u can put through a plate? I seen a (nos) plate said 175 shot...

I run a plate kit. I run an 88 jet which is 250rwhp shot. Stock bottom end and cam only. There are a few guys on here that spray and have sprayed a 99 jet(Andy carter sbe cam only) which is 325-350. I've even heard of someone spraying a 125 jet though a nitrous outlet plate.
