N2O lines have to be outside car???

N2O lines have to be outside car??? Went to the track the other nite and failed tech because my nitrous lines were run inside the car. I've ran at this track and another for two years with no issues. Anyone else have trouble with this? Any ideas where/how to run the lines external?
