Wet vs Dry
A friend of mine called NOS today to ask about jet sizes.They got on the subject of wet kits.The tech told him that wet kits were junk everyone he has seen had blown the intake off.I have a nx wet kit and spray the **** out of it with no problems.I told him they said that because they dont sell a single nozzle wet kit.Someone back me up.I know there are guys spraying dry but alot wet also.Has anyone blowed the intake apart? None to my knowledge.

I personally dont think that NOS likes wet kits.
I like NX, and would have no problems running a kit on my car.
But its not that big of a deal, be careful with it, and you will be fine. (reccomend a window switch)

Like I said I have a nx wet spray the **** out of it no probs.I am gonna get a built tranny and spray thru shifts you lose a little not being able to spray thru.
I am running a Compu Car single nozzel as well I had a dry kit for a little while and I wont go back <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

The only wet kit NOS has is the new NOSzle system.
Ive said it alot before, if you have an intake backfire, you have alot more problems than a wet kit. First, you have to have a spark in the intake to ignite the charge. It just dont ignite because it feels like it. The only way to get a spark in there is that a plug fires when the intake valve is open, IE. bent valve, valve float, detionation!
A wet kit produces alot more torque than a dry kit. And NO a dry kit is NOT safer!! Thats a popular misconception <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> They both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I know that one is no safer than the other.I just prefer wet over dry.I have had gas on just about every car I have owned.No problems you just have to be careful with n20.

Im planning on a wet kit.......saw on Horsepower TV they did a wet kit on a LS1 w/ 100hp jet....got 86hp i think at the wheels....thats pretty damn good...better than any dry kit i've seen

Dry is safe at low horsepower applications! If you decide to up the shot, sometimes your stock fuel management system can't hang with the tremendous amount of flow! That means you run lean, therefore messin' something up!
Wet shots are safer for higher hosepower, the desired air/fuel mixture is right in the fogger! Only thing is that you might not get even nos/fuel ratio to each cylinder! (single fogger systems) Thats why when you go "wet" you should go "direct port!"

I have a nx single nozzle.I spray the **** out of it.I have run 150 a couple of times and 125 even more.I have a maft and a scanmaster to monitor kr.I get none.I set my o2s up at about 915 to 920 when I spray.I have had nothing but good luck.I have got a vig 3200 which flashed about 4000 on 125 shot.I was running 26x11.50x16 ets DID NOT HOOK out of the hole or even hitting it at 60ft mark.I am fixing to step up to a fogger spray the single nozzle on about 75 out of the hole then pic up with the fogger on 150 once I get out.I am stepping up to et drags so that I hope will cure my hooking problem.I just dont understand why all of these people have so much problems or they are just scared of n2o.There is nothing wrong with it if it is set up properly.

And what do you consider a "low shot" to be... under 150HP?
I imagine the LS1 intake is a lot better for wet kits then the older TPI or LT1 intakes were. I'm still sitting on the fence as to which one I'll go with, but I see better TQ numbers with the wet kits...

I was trying to keep my MSD window switch along with the unit, but you cant. You have to use the window switch the unit has, which works good, I just didnt like the 5900 cut off. I liked my 6k <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> but 100 RPM isnt going to matter much. So far everythings going very good.
