Default Help with nitrous setup

I haven't actually bought this car yet, but I will be in about 2 weeks. It made about 590 rwhp N/A and 822ish with a 250 shot. The list of mods are as follows:

6 PT ROLL CAGE W/ REMOVABLE SWING OUT DOOR BARS
SIMPSON 4 PT RACING HARNESSES BOTH SEATS
AUTOMETER PROCOMP 2 PILLAR GAUGES FOR NITROUS AND FUEL PRESSURE

Right now I'm unsure of what to do. No nitrous bottles are coming with the car and I would like to cutdown some weight as I won't be spraying very often, if at all. There aren't really any tracks where I live so the spray would be in the off chance I run into a car that can beat 600 N/A. Do you think this system really requires 2 nano bottles & 2 nitrous bottles or could I just use one nitrous/nano and have the same shot? Are 2 yellow top batteries really necessary or could I swap them out with 2 light weight batteries like the ballistics evo 16 cells. Taking out the 2 bottles and switching to the batteries would effectively drop about 70-80 lbs off the car. I would appreciate any help, because I've never had a nitrous car before to be honest.

anyone? I guess the nitrous line "T"s off to both bottles and Nano systems, so I should be able to have the 250 shot with just the one bottle/nano correct?

You should be fine for a 250 shot with one nitrous/one nano bottle. I wouldnt go over a 250 hit with it though unless you have the 4500 psi nano system.

I appreciate the reply. It's the 4500 PSI kit. Motor is built for a 400 shot though. I think I'll leave it at 250 so it's nice and safe though.

You can do it with one bottle. Especially with the nano. If you need anything let me know

Thanks for the reply.

I'm actually looking to get a bottle with the correct valve for this system. I'm not sure if I need a bottle with a high flow valve, super high flow valve, or..

I will rarely spray nitrous, but the current tune one the car is for a progressive 250 shot and the motor is built for a 400 shot, so I would like whatever valve and bottle I need to handle both applications.

What are your recommendations?

Thanks again,
Brett

A high Flow 45 degree bottle should fit your application just fine! http://nitrousoutlet.com/index.php/n...s-bottles.html
