What size resister to retard timing?

Default What size resister to retard timing?

I would like to know what resister size I should use to hook up to the Air temp sensor so I can reduce the timing when on the juice.

Thanks</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Depends on how much timing you want to remove. I use about 1K, takes off about 5-6 degrees. 1.5K is about 4 degrees or so. I'm simplifying my statements, but that's really what it is in a nutshell.
