Default NOS do I need relay

I know it works both ways, I think that if holly puts it in the kit it should be used. does anyone know the real reason why? Oh and does anyone use it.

The relay is so you have a straight connection through to the solenoids for power. Therefore allowing you to have the activation side of the relay running at a very low amperage through your switches. I'd rather have a 16 guage wire running less than 1 amp running throughout my car to the switches, than a 12 guage wire running 30 amps throughout the car to the switches.

And yes, I used the relay that came with my NX kit.

ditto, relays are needed.

For one, large current needs large wire, like said above

And second, many of the N20 parts, cannot handle the 20 amps or so that a set of noids draws.

Window switch ( 500ma-1amp)
WOT switch (5-15 amps)
FPSS -- unsure?

Ryan.
