New to Nitrous I have a 02 Trans Am with a iron 408 and a Turbo 350 w transbrake. 4000 stahl. I had the car dynoed with the 6 speed still in it and it made 520 rwhp. My question is i am looking at the Nitrous Outlet plate system, how much horsepower can i spray with the stock fuel lines. Car has a Racetronix pump with hotwire kit. Also what can be done to get where i can use more nitrous passed the recommended point.
Its not the lines but the pump itself that is going to hold you back. I would say you are good for a 150 shot off the rail before you run into issues. If need be you can get a standalone and run c16 in it that way you are not tapping into the rail for fuel.
Like stated above.....
The racetronix system is good for 650 Rear wheel hp. Anything over that you really need to go to a dedicated fuel system or upgrade the fuel system in the car.
The dedicated usually ends up cheaper than building a big fuel system for the car.
