Default Bottle heaters

What's everyone's preference between pressure switch and thermostat? Is there a noticable difference between the two? Nitrous will only be on the car till the end of the year so I'm looking to spend as little as possible...lol

Well the pressure switch also controls the temp. Maybe i'm not following what you're saying here lol

Which one maintains pressure best between the two different set ups? I would almost think the thermostat would shut off quicker as it would read of the surface temp of the tank.

I am concerned with pressure more than I am temperature. The pressure switch is also more reliable as the thermostat. The thermostats always seemed to burn out over a perioud of time.

I wasn't actually concerned about temperature, just didn't know if there was a noticeable difference between the two styles in maintaining pressure.

Pressure switch is the best way to go.

Keeping the pressure constant allows you to be more consistant. As the nitrous level drop from use the heater will raise the pressure to the preset level.

ARC Heat in Daytona FL makes an adjustable pressure switch.
Good luck

Thanks, I was figuring the pressure switch would be the better way to go.

pressure switch, all day every day.

Temperature switch always seems retarded, to me. Bottle pressure will vary at the same temperature depending on the amount of nitrous in the bottle.
