Cut out question
Anyone want to hazard a guess at the increase i would expect from adding a cutout to my otherwise stock exhaust. My only mod not in sig is now spraying wet kit at 125 or 150-depends on track sticking or not.

i can guarantee you'd get an increase in noise
i've heard people claiming their times dont really change with a cutout. usually they have an aftermarket catback though. and i've heard theres not much of a change between the stock and aftermarket catbacks.. so i think probably not more than .1 sec. i have a cutout on my stock exhaust and in havent gotten around to doing ET's with it open and closed.
i think it sounds great though.. do it for that reason.

That guarantee is a safe one LOL. I hope to find some mph at the track,i hit a wall. No more than 113 mph no matter what i do.I know i'm asking a lot of a mostly stock setup but being married with children i'm glad to have a toy car ,so i don't want to throw too much money at it and upset the harmony of the house(know what i mean )I hope to have the cutout and installed by the next race event Oct 19th,I'll post the results, with and without it open.Bye the way what is the size ? 3 in? Jegs sells numerous sizes.
