Default new z28 nitrous

I have a basicly stock 2002 z28.Can I run nitrous on this car and if so how much is safe? I want to have a little more performance than I do now.Who makes a good kit? Right now I have hypertech programing k and n filter modifies air box 160 stat . I would really appreciate some help The boneheads iv talked to on the street and local shops all give me a different answer , so I figured I would ask the guys like you that are actualy doing it and getting results thanks. I took the car to the track on an 85 degree day and only turned a best of 13.49(too slow I want juice)and worst of 13.65 . The car is a convertable with the stock perf axle ratio I think its 323 and stock 16 inch rims so i was spinning a lot off the line .I orderd fatter rims and tires so I can hook up and dial the car in with the hypertech but I also want juice pleasr help I dont want to loose to the local cobras!!!!

There are a bunch of kits now for the LS1. TNT,NX, Nos to name a few. You can run 125 dry or 150 wet and be plenty safe with your current mods. Best advice is just to read and use the search function to get up to speed on the basics. You can start with the Colonels Nitrous Faqs in my sig.
