I'm wanting to install a seperate fuel system for my Bird and I would like some advice/warnings etc. before I go and start. I'm thinking of 2 ways to do it..1st being do a battery relocation, and put a 1 gallon cell and pump where the battery used to go...and 2nd would be to put a 1gallon cell and pump in the spare tire well and run a steel braided line to the front.
I'm thinking of doing the 2nd cause it would be less of a headache and cheaper cause I wouldn't have to buy the relocation box and find a way to install that around the N20 bottle, amps, subs, etc in the back.
TIA for all the help this place rocks!

Option 2 would be easier, but have you priced steel braided line I have pleny on my car, and the stuff is $$$. Good luck with whatever you choose.
There has got to be another location in the car somewhere.
Do you run race gas in the car at the track? If you do, use the Gas tank as your fuel source, and then run your separate pumps off that. It will have to be sumped, but at least you dont have to worry about placing that little cell.
Just my thougts, But I would be curious what separate fuel setups we have out there

That first idea sounds odly familiar I will be ordering the parts this week to put mine up front.
One thing to consider, Yes you do have to buy a battery box if you put the battery in the trunk, but.... if you up the fuel cell in the trunk then you have to buy steel braided line to go from the front to the rear of the car, and as Reckless stated, its not cheap.

Bad Solution IMO.
Hows this work?

I *may* decide to sell this fuel system, if so I'll post back in this section of the board.
