I need some ideas on where to put the outlets for my purge valve, pics would be nice. i thought about having them come out of both of the side vents in front of the doors. but i want it somewhere up front like my hood or cowl area. I need everybody 2 cents.

FWIW most I have seen are mounted to the left top fender next to the master cylinder and run the tubing up the firewall/cowl to vent out under the cowl on the drivers side much like the old washer tubes from 2gen camaros. Me personally I want to mount mine so it sprays the through the inner fender toward the front tire, more obscure. I dont see a need to advertise though. I'll check back to see other ideas, good post. Good Luck.
Charlie.

I have a T/A. You know how they have the lil reversed vents in front of the doors, on the lower fender. I wanted 2 outlets on my hood but then I dont want to drill holes in the top of my hood. I might just Mount them on the cowl in front of the windshield. but cant decide, I think it would look really cool though if I had it comming out of the vents on each side at a 45 or close to that degree angle. Either or it would make mini van driver scared to look in the rear vies mirror and see that stuff comming out of anything. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I am in the process of routing mine to purge (dual purge) out of where the windshield meets the hood on either side on the left and right corner of the car.

I am using brake line and routing it along the outskirts of the engine bay (right past the battery and the air pump) It is easy to route and should look pretty cool when finished.

I purge out of the screen protected area in the cowl by the winshield wipers. I have pics if you'd like I can email them to you.

The brakeline (the thin metal stuff, not the hosing) actually works pretty well, and you can find fittings that are adaptable with the 4an stuff. Another purge kit would be ~100 bucks. 20 ft of brake line and the fittings come to around 40 dollars.

I popped out the center fastener in the cowl and ran the tubing up through the center. Then I replaced the fastener ring and it looks factory installed. I bent the tubing so that the plume parallels the windshield angle. Looks great!
