75 hp shot
How safe or is it even worth it to have a 75 hp shot N2O? I was thinking about having N2O put on my car to give me a slight edge should I need it racing someone. By no means do I want to go crazy with the N2O and waste the motor. The car is a stock 2001 Z28 M6 with and 160 stat, HPP3 and MTI airbox. Thanks for your imput.
If it helps, I ran a 150 shot on my 2000 SS bone stock, it was an A4 even, only thing I did was blow the tranny, but that was the shitty 4l60e. You could easily do a 125shot. so 75 is easy
I also said i will not use it much.Only every now and then, just in case! Ha,Once installed you'll start looking for car to try it on. And pretty soon will start going through a couple bottles a month in the summer time. I started with a NOS dry 75 shot and could tell the car was faster but not much "feel" to it. Pretty soon i ran 100 shot then biggest jets i had (approx 118) with twin .036 jets. Then finally converted to "wet" kit and now spray 125 or 150 depending on track prep etc. Yes you can run 75 horse nitrous on your almost stock car but be prepared to get "BITEN"by the more is better bug once you use it. Don't say you weren't warned,LOL have fun and post your new found fun.

What happens when the BUG catches "the bug" GREED is the price of the bottle, always wanting MORE!

What NOS is the most user friendly? In MD it's illegal to run a car with NOS on the street so when I'm not at the track I would have to be able to easily disarm it.
I would put in a set of NGK TR6's. They don't idle as smooth as the stock plugs but then again it is a trade off,you need different plugs to spray your car.So the answer is yes you need to change your plugs.
Probably wet because I figure that is easier on the motor (less a chance of leaning out) with running the risk of blowing it up. I take it tht with a 75 hp shot I'll have to change the plugs to a cooler range? Is that correct.
