Just some food for thought, NX dynoed a customers car with the nozzle setup, then turned around and dynoed the car with the MAF kit. The car made on average 10rwhp through the entire run with the MAF kit

everyone has their own opinion.. do what you want to.. bottom line is HP is HP no mater how you stack it... more food for thought... i would like to see an EGT test on the same car to see the varrying degrees of cyl temp... sorry for my money and the safety/ longevity factor i chose the NOSzle.. you WILL get better distribution with a fogger than with any stinger or MAF solution out there.. for up to a 200 shot these work very well.. anything over that and my personal view is a fogger setup.. i don't like grenading my motors and for most of the guys on this list they are stock bottom ends so your margin of error is that much smaller than if it is built for NOS.. as with anything you learn by making mistakes.. ask 10 people on this list and you will get 10 different replies.. do what works best for you and stay within reason for power levels.. high hp is fun for a while but that dreaded day when it comes apart is not..

Just my 02

If money is not an issue the yea a Direct Port type setup is the best way to go. I personally have had 3 different kits on my car. An NX dry setup, the NX MAF, and now I am almost done with my NX Direct Port setup.

From my experiences the MAF hit MUCH harder than my dry setup I had and actually hit harder than other wet kits with a nozzle setup I have driven.

Bottom line is you get what you pay for

yes you do get what you pay for with anything really.. I guess my question to you is what difference does the hit make???? so it hits hard.. big deal.. that is harder on the driveline, the engine bearings, timing chain, clutch and creates more tire spin..this hit stuff is pure crap in my book and NO way to evaluate a system!!!.. i want TQ... HP.... AND be able to plant it without leaving a trail of parts or rubber behind me.. as i said to each his own but i for one and anyone who runs serious nitrous no matter who's kit it is wants to get it to the ground!!! i guess that is why they have progressive controllers?? to control and minimize the "hit"?HP is HP and TQ is TQ why does the "hit" matter so much to you??? Hit has didly to do with the performance of anyones system when it comes down to it... have you ever looked at a dyno graph with AF ratio of a car that "hits" hard?.. guess what the leaner it is the harder the hit.. sorry i don't want lean... i want longevity.. stability, consistency and most of all reliability.. of which pretty much all mfg's have.. so again what ever system works for your particular power level is the system to go with.. i happen to stay with NOS because that is my preference.. you Like NX and that is your preference.. just like Ford or Chevy to each his own.
