I found in a Jeg's catalog that AutoMeter now makes a "Tach Adapter." It senses a pulse from a tach output of most factory computer and turns it to a 12v square wave signal for tach, shift lites, or RPM switches. I thought about using it with the nitrous mastermind since it is a RPM-based progressive controller. With this setup I can launch at lower RPM and bring up power like a supercharger power curve and not a big spike like nitrous. What do you guys think?
Yes! Good to hear. I hope it will work with our cars...sounds like it should. Did you see the price by chance. I still plan on doing something a lil different and part of it will be RPM based. Thanks for the info
I must have missed it. I need a controller that is RPM, not time. I dont like those tim units. You cant recover if you mess up on a run. Once it starts its time, theres no stopping it

AutoMeter's P/N is 9177. Runs $62.99 in Jeg's and $79.99 in Summit's. When I get the chance, I will get it and Jacob's Electronics Nitrous Mastermind and do some playing.
