mcleod single kevlar. its a real good all around clutch and not as hard on parts as the rev-loc or the street twin.

I have the Cartek with their adjustable master and it holds up to 5k dumps on Et Streets

It just took about a month to get was my only gripe.

Well, well, well Rex. IMHO I think you need to convert over to a nice transbraked TH400, forget clutches and having to worry about shifting speed to stay consistent. Order it up, and when all the guys are down at the track (any given Friday or Saturday night) you say your sick and stay at the shop and swap that puppy in. Show up the next night and let HELL break loose.

While your at it, hurry up and get that rear in will ya. Oh yeah, you HAD to go to the SEMA show. See this would have been the perfect time to relax and get all your parts in while Big B is gone playing, sh*t Gene could've stayed too, I would come over and help ya, unless you offered up your reservation, hehehehe.

Alright, enough messing with you and that damn dream of running low 10's with you shifting. For real, have fun man. I do want to see you get it done.

Charlie.

I agree 100% with CAT3. I'm in the process of switching over from my M6 to a TH400 as we speak!

Well I'll tell you my experience thus far with my Cartek and you decide what you want to go with.

I launched my car on NOS 10 times total. The clutch is 3,000miles old. I upped the shot to a 100 wet shot TNT. I have stock 3.42s in my car still and i launched it at about 4K RPM and it kept falling on its face and slowly climbing back up into my window switch RPM for the N20 to come on. Not good for times. So then I launched it at 6000RPM and the car spun pretty bad to a 1.92. Well i ran again a hour and a half later so the clutch had plenty of time to cool do to some breaks and launched again after a better burnout. The thing spun the clutch like a top with sparks everywhere under the car with a pedal stuck to the floor. Cartek "the clutch didn't have a chance to grab, launch the car lower, under 4K RPM". Hmmm not good I can't even launch the car N/A anymore after driving the car 600+miles then taking it to the track after that incident and it won't even hold a N/A run anymore. The good news is I'm driving 2.5hours to Cartek to let them look at it. Hopefully all works out well. I personally have heard alot of good things about the RAM 910 iron disk. Supposedly the RAM is 2 way adjustable. You can adjust where it grabs off the floor and how stiff the pedal is, dunno if thats exactly right but thats what I'll be putting in this winter i'm sure Spend the $$$$$$$$$ once not 3 times like others.

gotta stay 75shot on the 35th.the wife doesnt approve of rollcage on the car.after all its her car but I maintain it.just gotta hang 11.99-12.00 e.ts or spray on top of 3rd gear. The poser is going all out when everything is in.on the n2o kit we ordered cant tell you whos getting it.he doesnt want to be known right know.but the other kit is going on the 35th with a 15pound bottle.will be switching the bottle with the 10pound on the poser ss.poser will have the 15pound bottle.

Let me think for a while I'll get it, unless I already have! I finally took delivery of my blowdown tube and pressure fitting, too bad though cause now I'll have to empty out a fresshly filled 10# bottle, shucks, Friday night here I come Nittos feel real nice on street, they do however pick up much more debris just driving around. As for rain, I guess with new DR's I needn't worry about sliding, these tires grip even wet. But, I don't get stupid on the streets anyway. When is the SS getting her bottle? Are you bringing the poser friday, oh thats right you gotta get a clutch in, hurry up Rex. See ya tomorrow night. Charlie.

At least we were man enough to race, oh thats right- it's the wifes car. If I recall, and this is off shear memory, you do have your own car, also a LS1, Poser, Camaro. That's right, you can't drive a manual consistent enough to actually compete , must be why you have this thread-clutch REX? O.K. enough toasting. My point was, I was really happy to get into the 12's, backed up it 4 runs in a row too, NA and with those 60's. I did run my dial in, 12.883 on a 12.88 just forgot I had to cut a good light, ooops. BTW, your in third for points on gold cup and tied for second, w/#28, at 0 points for silver outta the three, I mean two, hard core shop racers Where were we? Oh yeah, I was happy cuz I know you run mid 12's (wifes car, when she let's you use it ) and the mods between us: you have mac's, orp's, of course newer model (diff. cam grind + LS6 intake), and pulley although my gears are 3.23 to your 2.73. So, I'm thinking after the true duals (hopefully before Christmas) I should be there, and then I can always drop in a pulley for the extra edge. I am getting closer to my goal of 12-12.2 and now NA instead of high pressure car crack. Let Bodie and Gene know ( as well as yourself) I appreciate all the info, help and support you guys have been giving me, keep up the good work. Can you say cage time this spring? Charles.

couldnt agree with you more.well said.but you just dont drive a m6 car on a bracket race.if you do you will most likely lose all the time.look what happen to bob L.he might get pass the 1st round but after that his finish for the night.so thats why I use the a4 for brackets and the m6 for heads up.plus I have the option I can drive any of the two cars whenever I want.hey happy for you in the 12s and backed it up how many times.and anytime we could be of help at the shop just drop by.dont worry will make the next pro gas next month for sure.gotta **** some poeple for taking thier points away.see ya @ the track.
