I wouldn't go any bigger then a 150. It might handle more for a day or a month but somethings gonna give eventually.my .02

Default Max dry shot w/Walbro in-tank & '99 injectors?

I just installed a Walbro 340M in-tank pump and would like to increase the dry shot up from the 125(.055 jet) I am currently running. I am using a Cheater solenoid and 3/16" hard line to a single nozzle. The engine is otherwise stock - exhaust manifolds, stock heads, stock cam, stock intake(LS6 soon to be installed). What is the maximum jet size you would recommend with this setup?

Thanks,
Mike

You will be injector limited. I would go no bigger than a .055 (125 shot) possibly a .063(150shot). That will put you around 435-465 rwhp. And even then you will be close to max duty cycle. Also with that cheater noid you will be wise to monitor bottle pressure and spray at the same pressure each time. I would go to a dyno...get bottle pressure where you want it(say 1000psi)...start with a smaller jet (.055) and get AF and HP #s where you want them. Then when you get back out on the street...make sure you spray at the same bottle pressure. You will be so close to maxing your injectors that if you get 465 rwhp on a .063 jet with bottle psi at 1000 you may put down 500+rwhp at 1150-1200psi. At that level you will likely be dangerously lean. The cheater noid flows alot more than the two inline powershots. You can be lulled into a false sense of security if you have been upping the jets with the powershots since they dont really flow that much over a 125 shot. Check the Colonels N20 tech files in sig for more jet sizes on single nozzles.

Thanks for the replies, guys. The plan is now to do a 2-stage setup, dry and wet. I need to pick up 2 solenoids for the wet shot and am planning on getting fuel from the rail.

Is there any advantage to running either the wet or the dry as the smaller first stage, most likely a 75 shot, with the second stage being 100-125?

Will my Walbro support a 200 shot on top of a stock motor(headers to be added soon)?

You're injector upgrade should be good for 200 dry along with the pump.
