Default To Run Wet or Not?

I was reading all the post over Wet vs. Dry and the consequences of each and the only thing I noticed that is signifcantly different is How much each puts out and price. I was going to run Dry but then I thought it would be better to run Wet because of how it is mixed in with the fuel. Any info is greatly appreciated.

How big of a shot were you talking about? And which kit did you have in mind?

I prefer the wet kit, I too looked at all the posts and tried to justify one over the other. True, most problems could be human error, but thats a lot of error on dry kits over the wet ones. I love my NX wet kit and so does my car. Help ya narrow your options if you post your goals, size of shot, mods etc....Good-luck.

Charlie.

I run a nx wet kit i like it very well. The big difference in wet and dry is the torque that a wet kit makes, you cant beat it alot of guys are making 500 plus foot pounds of torque. I havent had my car on a dyno yet so i dont know the hp numbers. I went from 13.7 to 11.74 in the quarter with a 125 shot i was really impressed. Plus with a wet kit you do not have to worry about your injectors keeping up as much because you have already added fuel. There is a possibility of fuel puddling in the intake with a wet kit that can cause a backfire in the intake but that is few and far between. they are both good you just need to figure out what your end goals are going to be. Wich ever kit you go with make sure you change out youre factory platinum plugs nitrous eats the platinum off of them and will cause problems. Hope this helped some good luck

I was thinking of running 150 at the Max. Im not too sure on which wet kit to go with. NX,TNT,etc. whatever fits my budget. I am currently stock with no mods yet but I got my lid, filter, coming for this application.

Well I put dry kit on my car this weekend and I ran 3 bottles through it and it was flawless and ran great. It was a converted mustang dry kit, just a single flare with a .047 jet = 100HP. My normal at the track I was at was 13.5 @ 105, and on the spray it went best of 12.89 @ 116.7 with a 2.1 60'. The normal MPH for it was on average 115 MPH though. There are pros and cons for both, but this is what I did and the results were better than I had expected. Good luck.
