Does anyone just install the 5177 kit on an M6
Does anyone just install the 5177 kit on an M6 Has anyone just installed the NOS 5177 kit on an M6 car. I'm looking for a little 75 hp to 100 hp kick, it will be used on the street only. I will probably install a bottle heater.
I was reading the NOS 5177 install instructions the other night and the instructions even said to use stock plugs.
Does anyone ever just install these things per the instructions and just go have fun with them? or do you have to change the plugs, install a window switch, purge line, ect...before you can use the thing. Again, I'm not looking to push the envelope of my car or the laws of physics..I just want a 75 - 100 hp shot from stop light to stop light...for giggles.

Re: Does anyone just install the 5177 kit on an M6 Your best bet is having some sort of window switch to avoid it coming on too soon and also bouncing off the rev limiter. And a purge is nice too have to get all the air out of the lines.

The window switch has saved me twice, so it was money well spent as well.
I don't play games with nitrous. It's a great power adder, but it must be treated with respect and care. Otherwise, boom!

Re: Does anyone just install the 5177 kit on an M6 I feel much safer with the window switch, NGK TR6s and a few gallons of 100 octane. Thats just me taking a little precaution on my investment.
