how bad of an idea is this?

how bad of an idea is this? so i have two single stage plates, would it be at all possible to stack both plates so i could have a two stage kit? im trying to do a super budget build and this is what i have laying around..... 
I don't think that is such a good idea. I think the distribution is going to mess up with the plates being so close to each other.
I've done it with carb style plates before and it worked well
