Default Another set of "?" on DP kits...

OK, I am interested in running a DP kit on my car, but have a few questions. Is there a nozzle timer I am not seeing somewhere that triggers the ports nzzle to spray at same time as the injector? I looked at NOS NOSsle systema and I don't see it. If not, then wouldn't there be a risk of puddling from all the nozzles spraying, some cylinders being at TDC, BDC and some between cycles? Also, if I intend on running a 300 shot DP, I know I need a fuel pump(walbro 340?), and will use the NX digital maximizer (or similar prog. cont.), window switch will be included i guess, BUT. Will I need to replace the fuel line from tank to noids? And, will I need to use aftermarket fuel pressure regulator? I know I will have to upgrade my -4 line currently from bottle to N2O noid. TIA.

Charlie.

That's a big difference.

Yeah Todd, I got the math part down, but it seems so much more efficient to have a PCM controlled injector based platform for DP. Think about this, using a NOSsle like device, under/next to the regular injector and then having a programable controlled that receives signal from the PCM telling it when to spray. This would eliminate the need for pain in the *** "pills", you ust use a progressive controller type setup to adjust the base amount of spray and rate of flow vs. RPM which is linked to the computers injector cycle. Seems much more efficient, cleaner install, and HOLY GOD more power.

(NOTE: ANY and ALL N2O manufacturers, read above and get busy, christmas is only 15 1/2 days away.......

Have you been to BSM Performance down there? They can answer all these questions for you.

DP has it's own jets for N2O and for Fuel, so when it hits, they both spray directly into each individual port. I understand you are concerned about the fuel/N2O accumulating between power strokes, but think about it. Even at 3000rpm, your engine is spinning at 500 revolutions per second! Do you really think it's gonna have time to puddle in the intake port? I don't

Bad Habit Bird, thanks for the headsup. I plan on getting all this installed while away for a month, and want to return only to hook up the pro/controller. I seen the new NX DP system, NICE. How/where did you find out about the new maximizer, if you dont mind? Can't wait for the summer, I should have everything installed and ready before end of april: NX DP, new fuel pump, roll bar, headers and the pro/cont. If needed I can sell my then maximizer for the new one i guess. Only way I seent the new DP is from buddies whom attended the SEMA show. TIA.
