How do you know what solenoid you have/ how much spray they can handle?

First you will need to know what brand or manufacturer then the part # or name like

N.O.S. Cheater Nitrous Solenoid=part#18000 which will flow up to 250 shot
N.O.S. Cheater Fuel Solenoid = part#18050 witch will flow up to 400 shot

Again, which one? There is a Pro and Race nitrous solenoid. The Pro has a .110 orifice and the race has a .156 orifice.

If you bought a Zex DRY 'unit' you need to be aware of the following; although the solenoid has a relatively big orifice it also has an EXTREMELY FINE filter on the inlet to the solenoid.
Will filters are great for reliability, they are bed for flow and as a consequence that particular Zex 'unit' will NOT flow anywhere near the amount that a bade solenoid with the same orifice would flow.

A couple of other things most people aren't aware of with regards to solenoid flow and filters;

1) Just because a solenoid has a high flow orifice, it does not mean that the entire system will flow anywhere near what the orifice/solenoid alone will flow. EVERY thou of pipe length and every component after the solenoid, causes a LOSS OF FLOW and that all needs to be considered when trying to determine the max flow of a solenoid.

2) While filters are great for reliability, it is better to filter ONLY when filling and AVOID filters on the vehicle, as most filters not only cause serious flow losses but also cause severe losses of density.
