Raised shift points and nitrous( i have never heard this topic before)

Raised shift points and nitrous( i have never heard this topic before) I have an HPPIII and I raised my shift points +3 on all shifts. Will I be safe spraying it with it like that or should I take it back to stock shift points? I am gunna run a window box eventually but I don't have the extra cash to buy it this week.
