Default Nitrous ?'s

I'm going to install a NOS 5177 kit this week and have a few ?'s. First, does the included FPSS come pre-set for the kit or does it have to be tested/adjusted(how?) for setting.
Secondly, should I adjust trans shift points down
(currently at +2 mph)to allow lower shift extension ?... (N2O lows to pull against load [?])
Finally, can I run a 125 shot safely ? (using NOS progressive controller)
I've also removed ported maf and HPP power tuning.

Thanks & best wishes for the holidays to all.

Not sure as per the FPSS, I dont even use one-doh. But, as for shift points, I would try spraying a couple times first before messing with the shift points. I don't use a window switch either, but I do spray thru the shifts and my car has not had any problems. At first it tapped the rev limiter about 3runs, but since then it goes smooth. 125 shot is pretty safe, you gotta watch the A/F ratio, autotap it and make sure your good NA, then try loggin it on juice as insurance. You can have good fuel pressure but not have the right A/F ratio, run lean and BOOM.
Is the 5177 a Dry Kit?

Charlie.

1) you have to set the FPSS
2) I have no clue, I dont have an auto
3) yes, with a 98 you can run a 125 dry, but keep a CLOSE eye on it. I personally wouldnt go over a 100 shot.

If you have the hypertech programming that alters timing and fuel stuff you want to pull that programming before spraying.

What is best way to set FPSS..it is installed.
Any ideas on shift points? I have removed the HPP tuning and the TR ported maf.
Can anyone confirm flow capacity of NOS Powershot solenoids? I read that the progressive controller is more dependent on total flow of solenoid than jet size.
Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
