If you get some dyno #s between the two intakes
on a carb set we have only seen 15 to 20 hp difference between a mast and super vic. Im curious on efi set up.

Good luck with the new set up, looks badass!

Running 5.40's you already know whats up so my only suggestion is start low on timing with the 2nd kit. It brings the heat! (at least it always has for us. LOL !!)

Baby steps for sure. The Ls3 still runs, it was just time to go faster.

I'm getting the heads tomorrow from the machine shop. It'll be running hopefully in the next few days.

408 goes mid 8's

Tall deck motor goes mid 7's

How fast do you want to go?

I got ya back Andy. Just go find a 5.3 alum block. We'll send it to ERL.

That's my next step

ERL have a tall deck?

IF I were building another nitrous motor it would be a tall deck with a 4.375 crank. 480ci , mozez headed , sheetmetal, dry sump...Gangsta!

That's unfortunate, thanks for sharing the useful info though...

ERL does the tall deck thing with a spacer plate on a stock block that they have gone thru with new liners. It will end up at 482 cubes. 4.125 borex4.500 crank.

A done up built short block from them is $9900.00. That also includes a custom cam and 1/2 ARP head studs.
