Default Dry shot help. (Random problem?)

Im running a very basic dry shot with a single fan type fogger through the MAF like a NOS5177 type kit. I ran this kit last summer/race season with out problem (that I know of). The only changes that I have made to my set up sense last summer are..

A new MAF from a rented 04 Tahoe. I de-screen my original.
A different nitrous bottle. An older style that I got so I wouldn’t have to barrow anymore
And
An Autometer rich/lean gauge. So Im not spraying blind.

Now when I hit the nitrous sometimes it goes DEAD lean and the motor will either stumble or run mostly normal without any noticeable lose or increase in power.?

I have not yet notice a pattern as to when and why it goes lean and sometimes hits hard. Any ideas? Im going to the track this Friday and would like to get it solved before I hurt something and have to do a motor swap.

I say add more fuel. Sounds like you went bigger on the jets.

It's the MAF,
BTW you should de-screen if you spray dry.
