Anyone using methanol nitrous injection?
The car is a 98 TA with a 422 stroker, trans brake 350, 12 bolt 3.73 spool, and every other thing you can think of.
I just finished the engine, Its got stage 3 MTI heads and there biggest hyd roller, jesel rockers, Cosmetecs, Ported Holley/lingerfelter intake, 80mm tb. I spent 8 hours porting the intake to make it right. All I can say is this thing makes tons more power that it did on the LS6 intake. The Idle is much more stable and mid to upper RPM it Turns on. It made 505hp at the rear wheels before Now it will be dyno once We get 200 miles on it. I will bet it make 535hp or so.
I have concidered Methanol because of certain benifets, It makes more torque, Its less likely to detenate, It has a cooling effect. You have to run twice the amount. Its available around us here.
What might the negatives be? We will only be jetting up to 200 to 300 hp.

-Tuneability, Its harder to read plugs with Alcohol.
-Fuel Volume, It will take somewhere in the neighborhood of 1.6-1.8 times as much Alcohol (opposed to Gas) to achieve a "correct" Nitrous/Fuel Ratio. Personally I wouldn't use that pump even if I were using Gas, let alone Alcohol. I'd Prefer 2.5+ times the pressure at the pump as the system is flowed at. Look into a BG 280 at a Minimum, and would prefer a Magnaflow or Product Engineering Pump. This is for Gas. Alcohol? Plan on a BG400 or Pro Star 500. Fuel Pumps are my Pet Peeve on Nitrous Cars, put the biggest baddest pump you can on there.
-Corrosive. Plan on rebuilding the fuel pump every year, and replacing the fuel lines every two years Minimum. Maybe longer if after use you drain and completely flush the system (This is taking into account a seperate fuel cell). Also Note that due to corrosion, you can create problems with lining in the hose, which in turn can create havoc with Solenoid(s) (Won't open/Close correctly), Nozzles and jets (Plugged).
-Trackside/Online/Phone Support, Minimal at best since you're dealing with a totally different animal then most people.
I've actually talked to Alcohol Injected Cars, using Nitrous that Use Gas on the Nitrous side of things.
Of anyone, Nitrous Express seems to have the most solid grasp of running an Alcohol Enriched N20 System.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do. I briefly looked into the same thing, for the same reasons you mentioned, but I'll be Running VP-NOS or Torco 116 NOS Gasoline.
Later Darren
Like I said fuel pumps are just my pet peeve. I've had good luck with Holley Red Blue and black pumps in tyhe past, though I've just never used them on a Nitrous Enrichment system.
My main issue with it is initial Pressure drop. I really like the Magnaflow pumps that put out somehwre in the neighborhood of 30psi at the pump. For an NX system flowing at 10psi, you'll have all the volume in the world, but with enough pressure so that when the solenoid(s) open, you aren't going to see any issues.
All JM humble worthless opinion.
