Mallory Hyfire VI... any good?

Mallory Hyfire VI... any good? I know most people use MSD ignitions for upgrading for nitrous. But I am just wondering if anyone has experience with this particular model ignition system from Mallory.
Reason I am considering it is because it has rev limit, window switch and retard all built in. And it's all programmable from a keypad, so there are no 'pills' to buy like MSD. And to top it off, the price is right - less than $220 from major mail order suppliers.
I would be installing on a '96 Impala LT1 motor with a 100 shot.
