My friend with his S2k blew his motor with just a 50shot. I have the kit and was going to install it soon after I upgrade my clutch. I was going to run a 100shot with a NX system with a A/F, Window switch, Fuel Safety cutoff, EGT gauge and hopefully some good sense. But my friend took some of the same measures and blew his motor after a week. He sprayed from 3300rpm to 8800rpm with a window switch. I have 56k on a 98 T/A. I have a bad case of S**T happens to me all the time. So how safe would it be to run a 100shot on my car? Need some Advice from users.
All it takes is running LEAN ONCE and then itll let go. Dont matter if its a 50 shot or a 500 shot. Trust me, I speak from experience <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Do they really rev that high? (8800rpm) Wow, I dunno, i guess I am just used to seeing our 6200 ish rev limits. ** If you dont mean a Honda please disregard**

I'm not quite sure what you mean by S2K either. IF you are talking about a s2000 I still don't understand why in the world anyone would spray the car to 8800 RPM!!! I mean what kind of stock motor car take that????.... besides a street bike which is designed to do BUT is not designed to do it with 50 extra hp of nitrous.
Don't the s2000's come with a supercharger though? IF so thats probably the problem.
BTW I have a 50 shot on my 99 TA and I haven't had any problems the whole 2 times I have sprayed it LOL( I haven't had time nor been able to find any 100 shot jets)

Peak hp on S2000's is around 8800rpm I believe, no they don't come with a supercharger. Todays street bikes rev to around 14-15,000 rpm. If you don't run lean you'll be fine.
The Honda S2000's have a 9K redline i think.. the tach goes to like 12... have never ridden in one or heard one screaming but man must be fun on the spray... BUT blowing a motor on a 50 shot? NO WAY... I have had MANY experiences with cars running a 150 shot like the LT1 style dry kits blowing off the Press reg hose with no fuel enrichment and not blowing it up... it will melt the cats in short order and won't "hit" that hard.. obviously you can't do that daily without blowing it up but blowing a honda with a 50 shot?? while hp is relative that should not have blown that motor... there were other forces at work.. ie wron install.. and where did the 50 shot "pill" sizes come from? either way.. you will ahve no issues spraying as long as you don't spray with more than 1300 lbs bottle pressure for your correct tune and don't spray too big a shot... LS1 with 125 shot... no problem all day long... talk with a "knowledgable" person when setting it up for all the safety stuff and what to look out for...

GF's bro/law has a S2000 and yes they have a 9000 redline... They are fun to buzz out. I can't see a 50 shot hurting it there must be more to the story.
