Default nitrous express question?

I just started playing with my new nitrous system. check my sig for mods. I have been playing with a 75 shot pulling 3* of timing. Car runs great. I am starting to read the plugs and learn about that. My friend said they looked fine. Now i am about to run a 125 shot and pull 6* of timing to be safe so i will be at 24* total timing at wot. does this sound about right. My friend has a car very similar to mine that ran 12.14 with his timing pulled then ran 10.85 with a 125 shot. But he dont know what his timing is set at because he had it tuned for the 125 shot. I hope my car runs the same. running br7ef plugs.

I notice you have a TMS block as well. Which one do you have?

That will work fine and i bet that you will even be able to put some timing back in it.

Also I would gap your plugs at .030 just to prevent the spark from getting blown out.

My plugs are gaped at .032 right now. I will run this and keep an eye on my plugs learning to read them. Thank you for the advise and the reassurance. I am new to nos and want to be safe and not loose my motor.

Keep following the charts for timing and read the plugs. Safety first. If you feel or hear ANYTHING that does not sound right, GET OUT OF IT, TURN the nitrous OFF, and get someplace safe to figure out what has gone wrong. Do not do like some idiots and stay in it. That can only cause more problems and you may very well lose your motor.

Big ED where do you find the charts for timing? I just know to pull about 2* for each 50 hp.

2 degrees per 50 is pretty much rule for all companies. I am 90% certain it is 1 stage colder plug for each 50 after the first 50, and close your gap 1 or 2 thousandths to avoid spark blowout.

Quality of gas can throw the knock sensor off a bit. You can buy premium on the pump but you may only be getting plus for the first little bit.

so the .032 is too much gap? and people normally run the br7ef plugs for 150 shot witch is 2 steps colder plug.

He said this earlier, I will let his statement stand on that part.
