I WANT NITROUS....but
See sig for mods on the SS. I want to add a TnT F1 kit to my 99 SS. Will I have to change the fuel pump no matter what shot I run, 75-150? How hard is it to swap out the fuel pumps? I know I will have to change plugs to TR-6 and change my clutch disk too, from the 6130 to the 910.
Yes you will need to swap the fuel pump to at least a 340lph walbro pump. I would send off your sending unit to racetronix to have them fit the pump so you do not have to modify it yourself. I am sending mine to them to have twin 340s fitted and the second pump only on when I arm the nitrous. Make sure your tuning is on and you run some 104 unleaded race gas mixed in. A FPSS and a interior fuel pressure gauge would be a good idea too.

How much do these fuel pumps cost(having them swap the pumps and all)? Will I have to pull my 12 bolt to get the pump in? I like the RAMCHARGERS timing box but I don't know much about nitrous and I am nervous about depending on that box only to drop my timing, but on the other hand I don't want to lose NA power by loosing timing all the time via re-tuning. How much power do you think I would lose dropping a couple degrees. I am currently running 28 degrees timing at WOT.
