If thats the case I don't see the need for anything outside of the stock coils.

Plus he's the one who posted 6010 box which is a carb box

I got told by a builder can use the msd box. For all controls. The spark. Setting a higher rpm limit. Use for 2 step. Timing retard control and idle control. Is this true or do I need to get rid of this and get the lnc 2000

First thing I would do is not listen to that builder anymore. Sounds like he couldn't build a bird house if he tried. The 6 LS box is for a carb setup.

If you are running EFI , then you can use the LNC 2000 to pull timing and have a built in launch control. Let the PCM handle all of the idle and rpm limiter it will handle the controls to your coil packs. The LNC will only retard that spark for the nitrous, it will not hanlde the duties of providing spark, that's what the PCM is for.

Im not having him build my car anymore. Iv taken it away and sent it to a real shop. But I already had all the parts he ordered for it. He also said somthing that he was trying to eliminate spark scatter to help with throttle response power snd fuel economy. Since im wanting a 7300 redline. Can my pcm change the redline to this?

Is it pointless to try run both the msd box and lnc 2000? Or just use the lnc 2000 and be done with it?

Your PCM will do all that you need it to do. Just get the LNC and be done. There are cars that run in the 7's with the stock coils so I think you will be ok.
