Default MSD RPM Window switch c5 corvette

I just installed a NX wet fogger system on my 99 c5. I used a MSD rpm window switch to trigger the relay to the selenoids. I was told to cut the two loop wires for a LS1 tach signal. Was this information correct? Does anybody know if the yellow output wire is 12 volts when triggered to come on. I used that to trigger my relay for the nitrous system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

I'll move this to the nitrous section. They can fix you up over there quick.

I figured it out. Took me about 35 minutes to get my head out of my but. Everything works great.

glad you figured it out, sorry, i was too late to help, but maybe this can help somebody in the future.

The yellow wire is a ground output, and the cutting of the 2 wires, puts it in 4 cylinder mode, (necessary, becasue of the coil on plug ignition system)

Ryan.

The yellow wire should only be used to swich on a relay or other low current electric device. Do not use it to ground out your selenoids. Just a helpful tip.
