Safer than the Venom VCN2000
Safer than the Venom VCN2000 For an M6 can anyone put together a TNT or other kit thats safer for cheaper? I see where everyone says how much overpriced the2000 system is but can someone please list a setup w/ prices and parts that would be safer? Oh yeah and better.

Re: Safer than the Venom VCN2000 Personally I think any kit that is NOT a Venom is safer. Their method of relying on the O2 sensors just isn't what I would call safe in our cars.
You want a better kit that's safer?
Choose one of the following:
- TNT Wet Kit
- NX Wet Kit
I don't know what year model your car is, but to go 150 safely you'll need a wet kit.
Add the following to them:
- Window switch (brand doesn't really matter they all do the same thing)
- Ramchargers Timing Controller
- Fuel Preasure Safe Switch (might come with your kit and you have to make sure it's set right, which might take some tweaking)
If safety is of the utmost concern you could go add another nitrous solenoid so you have a back up in case one sticks open; however, most people don't do this and never have a problem.
The combination of the above will yeild you a very safe system; however, you have to realize that tuning is a VERY important part of nitrous safety.
I'd personally get a bottle warmer to (the NX one is the best) because it's virtually impossible too be consistant without one.

Thats exactly what I was looking for. Your reply is almost word for word with another guy here that is a mustang guy but also really into these kits. He sprays a 400 shot on a 351... He IS fast.

Re: Safer than the Venom VCN2000 IMO the Venom is just a over priced dry kit. I would stick with a TNT kit and jsut put a FP switch and window switch. And if you want some extra safty a progressive controller
