Anyone hooked their bottle opener to their ASR?
I think ASR=TCS on Pontiacs but correct me if I am wrong.
I think it would be cools to arm your car by turning off your traction control and opening the bottle in one motion. I can visialize trying to get ready to spray while someone is on teh side of you ...traying to get you to race. It seems the less switches to flip the better.

you could, i guess, if you find out what the TCS/ASR switch actually does, applies a ground +12 signal, ect.
You can wire the output to a relay and activate a remote opener that way.
you would need 2 relays, and a second SPST switch to close the bottle, or you could use a SPDT switch, 2 relays to have full manual control as well as the TCS/ASR "auto open"
If somebody knows what the pinout on the switch is, and the voltages it controls, then i could tell you how to wire it.
Ryan.

Humanoid, do a search on switches, myself and another user had discussed mounting and ****. I think the thread is "show me pics of your install" or something. NEway, the ASR is a momentary switch good to use for purge, but not a on/off deal. My soon to be procurred NXL will be activated by a Foglight switch, and purged w/an ASR switch, both will be mounted in the same area by removing the "Camaro" tag in the center. I have saved the wire diagram somewhere, if you still need I can sort through my junk and find them. Good-luck.
