3600 Vig and NX wet kit?

3600 Vig and NX wet kit? I have heard that with a 3600 converter and the bottle, I'll be hitting the rev limiter due to the converter being too large. I'm a little scared to put my kit on now. Any info would be very appreciated. I want to run a 100 or 150 shot. Can it work?

Re: 3600 Vig and NX wet kit? On a stock motor with vig3600 its alright, not my converter for the bottle but all right, once you do heads and cam forget it. It is the wrong converter for heads cam and spray.

Re: 3600 Vig and NX wet kit? I have a Vig 3400, and a 100 shot and I don't hit my rev limiter. Just buy a Hypertech and adjust your rev limiter up to something like 6700 or so. Then, you won't have to worry about it. Don't use the tuning on the hypertech if you want to spray though. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

A freind of mine, who is also a member of this board, uses a Vig 3600 with a MTI h/c set up and his car ran either 11.20's or 11.30's on motor and sprayed the car with a NX 150 shot and it went 10.30's. I would really like to have a Vig 3600 and I hope to be getting one here soon.

Re: 3600 Vig and NX wet kit? My .02 cents. I just added the Vig 3600 with #7 pump and am spraying a 150 wet shot with it. I am fairly impressed with the set up. i am having problems with shift points on the spray(hitting rev limiter) but i am trying to adjust that with the Diablo tuner. I know on street tires(F1's) at a 35 mph roll will make good tires into neat looking smoke rings behind you!!! No track times yet but still waiting for spring to hit Michigan. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Re: 3600 Vig and NX wet kit? I had my convertor bumped up from 3200, to 3600, and I told them I was going to be using nitrous on the convertor. I dont know if that changed the way they set it up. Times are in the sig with a 100 to 130 shot.
I'm not exact on the Rev limiter, but if memory serves me right, it's at 6600 or 6700. I do spray it right out of the hole., and have had no problems hitting the limiter.
I did have problems initially, hitting the rev limiter, when I changes the rear gears, and raced without changing the gear settings in the computer, but that went away, after changing the gear setting with LS1 Edit.
If this is not a good nitrous convertor, I wonder what I would have ran with a better convertor? #'s on the dyno and a 100 shot showed 471/555 HP/TQ. Are the times comparable to what others have seen with similar dyno #?
