Default First time n20 user help with timing tuner

So I just picked up a dynotune plate kit with a nitrous outlet plate and a horsepower in a box timing tuner. My car is a complete bolt on ms3 cammed ls1. I just had it dynoed and slightly conservative it put down 350/340 on a mustang that generally reads 13/14% lower than a dynojet. My question is with this timing tuner do I need to really go get a retune that cost money I don't have at the moment, or should I start high say retard 10degree and start adding in timing and pulling the plugs to check? I have my ac deleted in the engine bay so pulling my plugs isn't hard at all. I just don't know if that is accurate enough. If I rmb correctly I think my timing is at 23deg

If you run the right plugs you can just pull timing yourself and check the plugs, but if it were me i'd at least throw it on the dyno to verify everything. Make your you have the right fuel system as well

Yeah I know I need to dyno and eventually will I would just like to get everything hooked up and close to where it will need to be before I get retuned and spend forever trying to dial it in, if I could have saved a lot of time getting it close myself

Bigger injectors and a better pump more than likely.

I thought you didn't have to change injectors on a wet shot

Maybe not if you're only running nitrous and not heads/cam, but the stock injectors on my 02 WS6 weren't near enough for my heads/cam build.

10* is too much to pull imo for a 150 shot. your injectors should be fine but if you are pulling off the rail make sure your pump is up to it. im running the timing tuner also, I would put it on a dyno to verify timing since you cant actually scan to see what its pulling. I was pulling 8* with the box but the dyno didn't drop that much power, switched it to 9* and it was reading similar to pulling 15* so you really have to play with that box and tuning to get it correct.

I am running one also, I will have to get it dialed in too. I have a question also for someone who has experience do I have to wire it like these instructions say, Per their wiring diagram?
Note* Most NOS systems trigger through a ground. With the Timing Tuner you will now trigger through a 12v switched source. Remove chassis ground for the NOS relay and attach to the Gray wire on the Timing Tuner. The relay will receive its ground from the Timing Tuner. Your 12v switched wire for the NOS relay will now be powered through your arming and WOT switch as shown above.
