Spraying 4.10s I want to throw 4.10s in the car to wake it up a little more for daily driving. My question, is if I do decide to also spray the car on nittos is it pretty definite the 10-bolt would pop? I don't go to the track much if at all, and I don't dump the clutch on launches, I feather it out. Also, the nitrous wouldn't be sprayed out of the hole, it would be only once I get traction (or start losing to the other guy <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ). My suspension will be built to cut down wheel hop (lca's, panhard, subframes, etc.).
So is spraying occasionally still a terrible idea under these circumstances?

Re: Spraying 4.10s If you plan on going to the track with thoes 4.10's you better have a taller tire <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> As long as you dont spray out the hole I dont see any problems. The 10-bolt will eventually give out, but not right away <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
Re: Spraying 4.10s Do yourself a favor and get a 12 bolt and slicks and spray all you want out of the hole. I sprayed a 75 dry shot out of the hole with 4.10s and got a 1.58 60ft. The stock rear with N20 won't last long at all with 4.10s.
Re: Spraying 4.10s Another vote for a 12 bolt if you are planning on taking her to the track.. I have mine setup to come on at 3k rpm.. My setup is going to be for the street.
