I have MTI S2 Heads/ x1 Cam and usual Bolt ons on a 2002 SS A4.

Bottle Accessories, etc.

I sprayed 150 shot off the line and burnt 4 spark plugs during the run(still manages an 11.4 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ). Anyway, turns out I burnt the **** out of 4 spark plugs and a piece of Plug got stuck in a valve so now the heads have to come off etc. My question: What can I do to prevent this from happening again?

Im assuming het cylinder pressure was to high when I sprayed off the line which caused this...

One More: I bought an MSD ACTIVATION SWITCH and the local shop told me this was not the same thing as AN MSD WINDOW SWITCH is this true? They told me i could activate it past 3000 rpm but I could not shut it off?

 

It had to go lean. If the cyl. pressure was to high it would have detonated and hurt the pistons. What kind of n2o kit is it. Some were having problems with the fuel solenoid with the ethanol in the gas. When I sprayed 150 I had a dry kit with a mafs for the dry kit 5% richer curve. Didn't hurt anything. 175 wet kit leaned out and burnt the tip in #6 cyl. also got wrist pin knock in #6. I never had a window switch or rpm activated switch. Sprayed out the gate to the end.11.32 best et 122 mph 3920# convertable with 9" Your activation switch will let you turn on the n2o at a specified rpm the window switch will turn it on at one rpm setting and off at another setting so you can have it as a saftey before the rev limiter or set just below the shift rpm to help save the trany (no n2o while it is shifting).

 

Rich, thanks for the information man, big help <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> So im thinking they sent me the wrong one, I asked for a window Switch and they sent me a Activation Switch <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> So u think I should richen it up?

 

BTW: I have a Nitrous Works Kit
