Default testing KB BAP

We added a BAP when the stock fuel pump couldn't keep up on the nitrous. I wired it through a relay and used the arming switch we used for the nitrous system to turn it on. I'm going to finish the wiring tonight and check it out. If I'm watching the fuel pressure at idle, and arm the switch which will turn the BAP on, should I see an increase in fuel pressure? Trying to figure out how to see if it comes on correctly. I don't have a volt meter around (yes, I need one).

Thanks.

depends on where in the system the regulator is.

Good point. I'm not sure where the FP regulator is on a C5. I did "test" it last night by starting the car with the BAP off, flipping the arming switch, and watching the FP gauge. At idle with the BAP off the FP was a steady 62. When we armed the system and turned the BAP on the FP instantly jumped to 64. I'm sure the regulator is keeping it from going any higher.

Correct. The BAP will add some fuel pressure as well as keep the psi stable when WOT. Get a simple volt meter, connect it to the BAP, turn it on and you will see a voltage increase.
