Default help me put together a 6.0

Hey guys. I have a 86 c10. And wanting to swap in a 6.0 with nitrous. Plan is a lq9 block and 243 heads (i heard those bump up the comp). No idea on cam/intake setup. Leaning towards a carb setup. But is efi worth getting into? If so what all parts do I need? Transmission? Etc... Any help is appreciated.

If you got the coin efi would really be beneficial all around. How big are you wanting to go with nitrous? What are your goals? Need more info to really get help from others as far as nitrous setups are concerned.

If it were me I would stay efi and use a wet plate system with window switch and other accessories. But again still need some more info

Truck is 86 c10.around 4100 lbs now Guess you can say hp goals around 600-630. 300 shot max. I have 373 gears sitting at my house...I'd like to push the truck into low 10s but still have a good n/a setup.

Read thru this

If still have questions than best to ask professionals. Call nitrous outlet or nitrous express and explain your goals and they can set you up with all the info you would need to reach your nitrous goals
