115k LS2 150shot safe? Looking at doing a direct port 150 shot on an higher mileage ls2 (115,000 on the odo). The shortblock seems healthy still. Oil psi is on point. Stock cam. Might send the heads to be rebuilt with stiffer springs, lighter trunion assembly, coated lightweight titanium valves and milled down a bit; To better cope with the nitrous. I just want to know if it is safe with a proper tune to run a shot this big

Like everyone else said you will be fine just make sure you use a cold enough spark plug and have a good tune on the car.

I would read and ask more questions before you go spraying. Yes an LS with vitually any millage is safe with a 150 shot, but anyone who has a direct port for a 150 shot has way too much money or not enough knowledge!
The only exception to that rule would be if you plan to spray 300 or more down shortly the road.
