However, I would think your mph would be a tad higher, even at your race weight. Looking at your mods, I saw that you had a 2 1/2" duals. That's a restriction for your setup as well, especially on the bottle. I see you edited your mod list and have 3" cutouts off of the headers now. Was those installed AFTER your pass?

By looking at the plugs, I would keep the #11 plugs in there, especially if you plan on upping the shot.
Thanks Shortdog! Cut-outs were open for that pass. I'm going to go with Brandon and Martin's advice and go with a .042 fuel jet, pull another degree and I'll start with some hotter #10 plugs cause I have them. We'll see where that gets us on the 250 shot and go from there....

That will show more heat on your current tune, but as Brandon said putting a little fuel to it will remove some heat from the plug. You might try going to a -9 heat range plug, pulling a degree or degree and a half of timing to start with and giving it a half pound of fuel or go up a jet size to .042. You can always put that degree or degree and a half back in it, and/or remove the added fuel if it doesn't like it. Learn your engine and what it wants, and it will reward you, trust me!

Remember, nitrous is the medium in which we use to burn more fuel and fuel is what makes the power. Anytime you can burn more fuel and keep the tune-up "clean" you should always make more power and go faster.

Sorry for the crappy pictures - not much of a photographer.

#11 PLUG (temp at 65 degrees)
Previous Run: 1.48-60 ft. 1/8-6.37@109.8 1/4-9.95@136.7 with .040 fuel jet and 15 degrees
SWITCHED TO #10 PLUG (temp at 75 degrees)
Run1: 1.51-60 ft. 1/8-6.42@109.7 1/4-10.0@136.8 Plug: No heat and visible fuel ring
Run2: 1.51-60 ft. 1/8-6.40@110.6 1/4-9.96@137.6 Plug: Timing-1/8 inch and faint fuel ring
Run3: 1.52-60 ft. 1/8-6.42@109.8 1/4-9.99@137.2 Plug: just starting to show heat and faint fuel ring

On Run 3 I lost Bottle pressure and was showing 11:1 by the end of the track.

Next time out on new Bottle I'll start with the .093 and .044 jet at 15 degrees. Any suggestions based on pic's above?

Do you have the ability to add timing in half degree increments?

Hey Martin. Unfortunately I can only adjust timing one degree at a time. I'm planning on putting the .093 jet in when I go back to the track on the 24th. I had low bottle pressure on Run 3 because it was the 3rd run on the 10 pound bottle. I normally run twin 10 pound bottles but someone stole one of my NANO bottles and I just got the replacement this week. I'll be running twin 10 llb bottles next outing with a V fitting. I was planning on running .093 and .044 jets with 14 degrees of timing. Your thoughts would be appreciated - good starting point for the .093 based on the .089 jetting?
