Default Is this NX nozzle far enough in?

I have the NX Proton kit installed on my car. The nozzle that comes with the kit seems to barely works it way threw the bellow. I have the nozzle screwed in as far as I can get it.
Will it still perform the way its suppose to? hurt performance at all?

Do you have a picture of the other side? You need to have pretty much the whole "bathtub" area exposed.

Thanks,
Garrett

As long as it looks something like this you should be good to go.

That's right. Just waiting for my tuner to have him dial it in.

I remember seeing this picture on another thread, I'm pretty sure the bathtub area is fully exposed in the intake. It just seems with how the bellow balloons outwards, its brings the nozzle further away from center of the throttle body.

Also, I bought TR6 plugs as I'll only spray 125 shot, what should I gap them to?

Thanks in advance guys

A BR6 or BR7 would be a better choice, but if doing the TR6 I'd gap between 30-35

I was told the BR7's, but also heard it isn't the best for n/a performance.

I mainly run the car on all motor, and the juice will be used on rare occasions on the street or a couple times a year at the track

I run my car exactly like you, and can personally tell you that you will notice no difference whatsoever in terms of drivability and performance. I came from the TR6's as well, and my BR7's have been fine for 2 years now

That is good to hear. I haven't put the TR6 plugs in the car yet, so I'll return them and just get the BR7's. I assume gap them to the same 30-35?

Yes 30-35 is fine. Ask any of the nitrous companies and they'll tell you that the BR7 is a better choice

Ok I installed my BR7 plugs today and got the bottle filled. Having my tuner check out the tune to make sure it switches over to nitrous tune when I arm the system.

Oh, and to NitrousExpress, here is that pic of the nozzle. It seems ok right?

I have a wire going into the red PCM side (I forgot what number) that is hooked up to a relay which is triggered by the nitrous relay once it's armed. So basically the car has two tunes on it. It stays on N/A tune all the time until I arm the system, and when I do, It goes to the nitrous tune which pulls 8 degrees.

How does dual tuning a car like this work? If you go somewhere and get dyno tuned, do you essentially have to pay for two tunes or can you get an 'all in one' tune?

I basically paid for one tune. I was on the dyno and my tuner dialed the car in N/A. He made a nitrous tune to pull timing once the system was armed

Do you think a tune can be done like this on a 98?

That's really cool! I like that idea. Never seen that done on a LS1 before

I'm not sure if the tune can be done on a '98 car, I would assume so if the PCM is the same.

Yeah it's a cool easy way to have 2 different tunes on the car
