Curious whose got the fastest stock bottom end 5.3 on nitrous? Curious about 1/8th and 1/4 mile numbers.

Our customer Will Harbin has the 5.3 SBE record as far as I know.

Brandon. Can u share anymore info on the setup? That car has to be under 2900 with driver. 5.12 to the 1/8 is really impressive for sbe 5.3

He was on C16 with a R5671A-10 plug.

Damn that's awesome. I know that one crazy mofo got in the 4s but was turbo charged and think it was on alcohol. It finally blew up.

It will be in the 4's soon enough. They are about to jump to the 38 jets and head back out once the good weather shows back up.

The system they are running is our Racers Option Direct Port System. I have some really great tune ups for that system. It has done very well for us in a lot of differnt classes and grudge racers.

What designates the "Stock" bottom end? Stock hardware too?

It has completely stock internals, only thing that is after market is the Brian Tooley cam. The heads are stock 799 heads that had some work done to them. This is a l33 so its an aluminum 5.3.

Is there a build thread or the like where that cars progress is being logged?

Shawn Bryson and Daniel Moncreif built that car. It went 4.83 at Brainerd optimist here in ringgold, ga.

Thought they went a .83 but only slip I could find was his .85 pass

4.83 is the fastest I know of. That Orange fox freaked a lot of people out. Filled block iirc though
