Default Take the bottle out?

I live in texas and the summers get pretty hot here. I just wanted to know if you guys take your bottles out of the car on hot summer days or not? may be a stupid question but better safe than sorry.

Over time the safety seal will wear out if it is heated up a lot. Then it will eventually blow. So, the less "extreme" pressure it sees the better. On a full bottle mine would get to nearly 2000 psi in a matter of hours and thats in Georgia. I'm sure Texas summers can be a bit more brutal. I've only blown one seal in the past 7 years though so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

2000 psi....holy shiznit!!!

Get some quick releases and take it out if your car is in direct sunlight. If possible, park in the shade, cover the bottle if its out in the open (rear deck). When I was driving my car to work a few days per week, I would take the bottle right into work, and set it by my desk. That was on the hottest days though....Nebraska summers can hit 105 degree's pretty easy. Judgement call. If its boiling hot outside, and your car is locked up with the windows closed, and parked in the sunlight, you could blow a safety disk.

Just my .2 cents

mine is in the spare tire area and its pretty shaded so it doesnt get that much heat (plus my windows are tinted), but i still pull it out in florida summers. better safe than sorry.
