Default 05 Cts-v with nx window switch

I just put the finishing touches on installing a nx nitrous kit with a window switch. I have set the switch to cop and 8 cyl but when I fire up the car it is reading 37-3800 rpm on the window switch read out when it's really idling around 900 rpm. I did wire the rpm input to the ecm wire that I also have my shift light wired to ( and it works fine) What did I miss? Or does it need to be wired somewhere else? It's an 05 cts-v.
Thanks for the help

Try putting the cylinders selection on 4 cylinders and see if that will put the RPM where it needs to be-

You'll need to play around with the different cyl modes until it reads correct. If it never changes the reading you might be hooked to the incorrect tach wire at the ecm.
