would a progressive controller help keep a engine together

If a progressive nitrous controller can be set to one shot then ramp up over a set time wouldint this keep a engine together allot longer then hiting it with a single straight shot?

Progressing can be easier on the motor. But introducing the nitrous at a higher rpm will as well to reduce to the torque spike.

That's my thought exactly it would be fun to play around with a junkyard engine and over time up it till she goes then back off enough it will last or at least till I build a bottom end

A progressive can soften the hit and lower the initial strain on internals but a correct tune up in general is what keeps motors alive on nitrous. If you need any help, please feel free to contact us!

Timing is the double edge sword, it releases power potential, yet getting too greedy can cost you your engine, there is a fine line between advance of no return, just enough to be happy in ET, MPH & happy Motor!! Now get traction and make some power!!
