Default Which kit?

I'm looking for a simple dry kit with a 15lb bottle to use on an 04 Z06 to help me hit 200mph in the Mohave magnum mile in Oct. just looking for a 50-60 shot to make sure the 510rwhp 416 hits that 200mph. Engine builder has suggested a small shot so we don't need an additional fuel pump or injectors and says an additional 50-60hp should do it.

I've heard some kits are junk and others are acceptable. Ideas?

Any nx or nitrous outlet kit will do the trick reliably. If your pump is maxed out a dry or wet kit is not gonna avoid that issue and if just your injectors are maxed out you need a wet kit.

You won't get junk by choosing Nitrous Outlet or Nitrous Express. Both have quality products and provide great support for the products they sell. Both are active on this forum too, which is a huge plus.

We run a Nitrous Outlet direct port and Nitrous Outlet plate on a C6 Z06 that we take to the Texas mile. We are spraying 400 total on both kits (makes over 1,000rwhp) and ran 209 last time out. I dont know if a 50 shot is going to get you to 200 mph though.

Yea I agree your going to need more than a 50 shot or probably more than what a plate kit behind the TB can give ya. I talked to Dave Vasser about this before on my c5z and we came up with a direct port on the intake with 2 10bolt bottles

It sounds like you're going to need a decent sized setup to reach your goals.
I would recommend looking into a dedicated fuel supply, so you don't have to worry about your fuel pump or injectors not supplying enough fuel.

It sounds like you're going to need more than a small shot to achieve your goals, along with scott5 said- probably two bottles to make sure you can spray long enough to hit that 200mph mark.

If it turns out you're going to need more than a 250 shot to reach your goal, I would definitely recommend going the direct port route.

If there is anything else you need, feel free to give us a shout at 866-648-7637, my personal ext. is 111, and my name is Shane.

If all your looking for is a small dry shot then this should suite your needs to T.

You might really look into getting some bigger/ better than the dry setup especially if you're wanting to hit 200mph mark. It takes some stout power to do 200mph!
